Better Labs for Better Health is an intersectoral method that seeks to offer sustainable enhancements to the standard of all laboratories that deal with well being.
Three months in, it is clear that these lengthy-term embedded experts have had the time to construct sturdy relationships with their national counterparts. Through these relationships, they’ve been able to develop a deep understanding of the local context – including the enablers and boundaries to profitable design and implementation of insurance policies and programmes.
I’m partaking with the financial and capacity challenges within the MoHS; the political challenges; and the complexity of working alongside the World Health Organisation, the World Bank, UN agencies, and a whole bunch of NGOs and personal sector implementing companions. And all of that before even getting to the content material of the day-to-day work of the ministry.
